OK, that’s enough pun-ishment for one day.

Too soon after covid? I would be afraid readers might give Mr Hilburn the cold shoulder and call a pox on my house so making infectious jokes… I guess comic artists are immune to such things…but nobody masked my opinion.

Lotsa bad – ie, good – puns today, in the cartoon and in the comments.

This ‘toon would play well in Italy, where influenza is literally Italian for “influence”, and malaria’s roots as “mala aria” (bad air) would be self-evident.

Perhaps their staph could entertain the child instead.

I hear they are going to start puns in Beetle Bailey. That’s probably illegal because Corporal Pun-ishment has been outlawed.

I can’t decide whether I like the comic or the comments more. Both have given me a good laugh.
