Sometimes I fail to fail, and that’s really sad. I have to continue until I manage to pull failure out of my @ss.

… if ‘surprise’ cartoon eyes were real…

    …she was a dull doll baby…

…Silvia’s X- men tryout did not go as planned…

…at least Ash failed in a brilliant flash of flame…

…alas, Silvia thought, I should had lead with my Janet Jacksons…

…next week she would do just that trying out for the Teen Titans…

    …Silvia almost became Ta-ta Lass…

…because The Flash was already taken…

…in the end she put her gift away never to be used again…

    …except…

…there are rumors of a gal being seen in Lorain that is a member of the neighborhood watch…

    …that is just like her…

Failure tryouts for the Froglandia Summer Solstice Celebration will be held on Saturday in the Froglandia Bath Mat Factory cafeteria. Failure to attend will count for twenty points toward acceptance. Points will also be awarded for the most interesting excuses, naturally. Or most naturally rewarded for the excuses. The memo was not terribly clear on that part.

You can lead a horse to water, but really… if the horse were thirsty and the water okay, it would have gotten there ahead of you.

Interesting failure is generally more interesting than success. It’s like Tolstoy’s gag about happy families.

    I`m outwardly calm, apparently normal,

quick to smile and slow to peak,

but I have a little quirk

    a pattern so to speak.

I`ve rarely have ever hold a job,

    I never finish my work,

I`m an affable kind of a slob,

a highly disorganized classic sort of a jerk.

I`ve got the will to fail,

    the will to fail,

I have talents that I never use,

I try to win, but I love to lose,

because I`ve got the will to fail.

I think that I shall never see, again,

Such bugged-out eyes as these of thee.

Yet, though they be, we need not thee:

Don’t call us, we’ll call you!

Those of you who follow the personal growth and professional development fields are probably familiar with the concept of “failing up.” I do not do this. I fail down. Way down.
