Does anybody have an idea how big the Milford Library budget is likely to be??? If he wins his obsession with the numbers will be like trying to kill an ant with a sledgehammer.
When this plot started, wasn’t Barely Able freshly unemployed? His obsession with this Library Board position doesn’t pay the bills. Get a haircut, get a real job and be somebody.
Zane’s platform (as if anyone running for library board had a platform) is “Expand community access.” Mr. Burrito promises to slash $150,000 from the budget by closing the library with the fewest number of visitors, selling off the computers, and closing early.
“Tell me, Mr. Brito, if we implement your plan to cut back to a single computer and reduce the librarian’s hours by 90%, just what would we do with the money we save?”
“Well, I was thinking that maybe we could use it to buy better desserts at the library board’s lunch meetings.”
Oh man, Un-Able turns down tonight’s menu of stuffed Burrito as he tries to find a way to slash another $2.43 from the library’s annual budget. And speaking of slashing, you should slash over to Mopped Up Thorp and read today’s episode.
P1: Yeah, I think we wrapped up 2nd in the Valley with today’s loss so I won’t be needing you anymore Zany. Time for a quick shower and off to MCC for some golf lessons and some MLF gazing.
How much does Abe think he can get for those 2nd generation computers? Probably replace one Mackintosh, If only budgeted for better wi-fi service in the beginning we wouldn’t even be here

My daughter teaches at an elementary school, and she sez the that parents who happen to be the biggest pains in the a$$ are the dads who happen to be “between jobs”, sort of like Burrito-boy is
