My back to work day. Vacation is over – sigh. I had a pretty good week, all things considered. I’m already looking forward to my next week off, the week of July 4th.
You know, Chesney, you could take your chances on the street! You get to do so much criticizing because you have a roof over your head and food to eat.
From yesterdays’ post about the new parkway:Gweedo: I have no clue about the water. This is a darn DESERT, for crying out loud! Golf courses everywhere, not water features (one is also at the new condo/townhome rental/timeshare place down the road) and a water park is due to go in over in St George. I know there’s some huge dispute about the Colorado River and I know just a smidge about it but I don’t think this dispute will end any time soon. So, with all of the water using projects, the county better not tell me to curtail my water usage. (I’m talking about shorter showers or lawn watering)
Marilynnbylery: I guess parkways mean different things in different areas. Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa/El Cajon (CA) is more like this one. It gets you from one place to another by going around the regular freeway. Over there, you can avoid HWY 8. Here, it means you can avoid Hwy 15 and SR9 in Hurricane.
Could somebody explain Bizzaro from over on arcamax comic? I don’t get it at all. I don’t understand why theychanged their rules about posting comments. You can only post via facebook. I rarely see any comments at all any more.
Hopefully Chesney avoided a concussion. He has more than enough issues already. Still, I am willing to provide an Intervention for him if Bluebell, Oliver, Mr. Hollingworth, Route Nine, Jellybean, This Side Up and Woof will participate.
These two are inconsiderate, ungrateful jerks who hassle Annie, even though she has done nothing to deserve it. Who are: Jack and Chesney. On another note, saw three rabbits, two robins, a raven, a sparrow, and a Wilson’s warbler while out walking today.
