I had to buy a 4×4 the other day, $17, I guess prices have risen. Luckily I have a garage full of lumber and cellar stacked too. Only needed the one 4×4.
Saturday’s paper; the story was couple woke up and found their fence half missing, due to the high cost of lumber. Copper is the same but if you steal copper, still connected to electricity, at least some justice might be dispensed.
Not bad really. I have seen people use shed elk horns and driftwood for deck material in Montana. They call it rustic, or artistic. I call it redneck. It works though, so eat your hot dog and shut up.

Nothing like having a couple of beers with a friend on your back deck admiring your handiwork.
Too bad Bleeb wasn’t there to enjoy it also. John must be getting lazy hahaha

Can’t find Bleeb again. Maybe he returned to his home planet to report on the crazy humans he observed?

That’s better than any deck I would build. I had trouble making ashtrays in shop class.

Along with the soaring costs of aluminum, steel, plastic, and computer chips. Inflation will become a four-letter word in a few months

Had to buy some lumber for some repairs on my shed. Prices were up about 300%.

Want to take your wife out to dinner somewhere expensive?
Make a couple of sandwiches and take her to the lumber section of Home Depot!

Didn’t build a “deck”, so much as created a low-hanging vermin haven.
