Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Devices can be insured, hold hundreds of books, and hide an inclination to collect and pile up books ā which, like many readers, Iāve done. No more! Finally going digital has been wonderful for me.
Iām always, always, the only one in the waiting room reading a book. Everyone else has a screen of some kind in front of their face. I carry a small book or magazine with me (one of those big purse women) for waiting situations.
Each has its place. I like the convenience and visual reward of progressing, approaching the end, of paper. Ebooks, Iāve found the right app and āputer to read old comics, finally, after much experimenting.
Now, what are you currently reading? Iām nearly finished (a āpage turnerā) Enderās Shadow, one of the sequels to Endersā Game. Before that, the Hunter Killers, on radar suppression the Wild Weasel air combat in Vietnam
My daughter and her friend were at the beach this last month for sunrise. They later settled down and my daughter grabbed a new book from the car while her friend studied for an exam. A surprise wave soaked them and almost all of their stuff. New book was ruined (the pages, once dried were all fanned out and gritty with salt and sand.) Her friendās phone stopped working needed replacement. My daughter luckily only had to replace her $15.00 paperback.

Each has their place. I like whatever version of book the book I want to read is available at my local library.
