Disco drops his toy mice in his water bowl when he gets tired of playing fetch. He has never done that with cat treats though.

I had one years ago who dunked her toys in the water dish. When it was one of those mice with the real fur covering, a tiny fur rug would emerge from the water.

I had to have an entire conversation with my granddaughter about how our cats don’t want the convenience of being able to eat and drink at the same time, and therefore she shouldn’t throw the cat’s food into the water fountain.

I wonder if they’re YUM-YUM KITTY=CAT SPIDER TREATS? Seeing giant floating spiders would freak me out too, Mittens!

and it’s disgusting.
