As long as dogs do not disturb a cat-nap, they can bark to their hearts content whenever they want.

That is SO weird! I’m up this a,m at 3 a.m. due to my “pitador” (as his vet calls him) “Shaw” barking in the dog yard starting at 3! Decided to get thru the funnies early this a.m.

4:32am here in the woods and a hunting hound is the last contestant. He was last seen headed north past my porch. This stuff only happens in the funnies.

Our town has mandatory quiet hours 10 pm to 6 am. They don’t apply to fireworks, muffler-less motorcycles, donut cars or domestic arguments – apparently. Just dogs.

Garfield should talk, since he’s been singing and dancing on the fence at night as well. Which reminds me, when’s the last time that we’ve seen Garfield do that?
