I keep my old mics for reasons of earstalgia.

It was an electrifying final performance.

Can anyone explain the point of this to me?

Good microphones are expensive ($500 and up) and the “drop the mic” phenomena has become such a problem that our community theater now charges a (refundable) mic deposit for any group renting the theater. Drop the mic and you lose the deposit.

I think there should be an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Open Mike night.
