It didn’t help that she asked and that she asked "CAN you fix the toilet?

My wife knows better than to ask me. I’d make it worse.

The last time I fixed a toilet I did it by calling a plumber. I have enough problem getting off the floor at my age, fiddling in the small space next to a toilet is painful and frustrating. So I understand how the couch potato and meatloaf feels

Maybe she needs to offer him a bagel. I once saw a commercial where a husband put a new roof on their home when promised a Lender’s bagel!

Haha, goes both ways though. Since we got married, my wife has gained close to 100lbs and her favourite activity is sitting on the couch staring at Instagram on her phone for hours at a time.

Define “ fix” the toilet. Almost anybody can plunge it.
