So Miles came before the marriage. When I was Miles’ age that was shocking. Today not so much.

This is one of those things that lead to very awkward conversations.

Since he was little, my son has been better with math when he pictures a $. Lol

Miles: “How does this figure?”

Mom: “Magic.”

I remember the day I sat down and did the math. I asked mom. She still pretended it wasn’t a “shot gun wedding”. I just laugh. No need to get upset.

So, Miles was born out of wedlock?

I wonder what kind of snappy patter he used for the musical interlude.

Old saying: the first child comes anytime, the rest take 9 months.

If you do the math, my uncle was in the oven for 3 months before my grandparents got married. It’s no wonder they barely tolerated each other.
