My father sadly passed away last October. You never realise how much you truly miss somebody until they are not there any more… Happy Father’s Day to my late Dad, I wish we could have talked more <3
Happy Father’s Day to every great father, past and present! We honor and celebrate you! Fathers are so important! They provide, protect and sacrifice for their children. Fathers are brave, strong and honorable. They are real life super heroes! They help to make the world a better place for all, especially future generations!
Although for some of you, today might feel bittersweet. My heart goes out to you, especially if this is your first Father’s Day without your earthly father. My heart also goes out to all of you who mourn the loss of the father you never had or the one you wished you would have had. Fathers play an important role and the impact they make or the void they leave has major implications for a child, a family, a community and a world. The imprint is indelible and can be felt in everything that is.
Thus, I hope that Snow can provide a bit of comfort (or respite) today, no matter what your experience has been.
Also, happy first day of summer! May today be the beginning of a brighter season for us all!
