That hyaenodon’s close up is Pellucidar’s answer to Sunset Boulevard.

Some fun day this Sunday turned out to be too.

The first two hyaenodon have the right idea, go for the guys with the weapons you know. The last hyaenodon figures, “Maybe my buddy just dropped over because of a heart attack from the noise. Well, loud noises don’t scare me!”

The third hyaenodon was at the bottom of his class at West Point.

Glad I was not living in 1947.

Gridley sighs, taking aim at the remaining hyaenodon, “Good Lord, what is it with this place? Do all the hotties come with a side order of hyaenodons and hairy brute-men? The things a guy has to do to get laid around here… Sheesh!”
