Did he ever introduce himself as ‘Tarzan of the Apes’? In my rapidly fading memory simply ‘Tarzan’ was enough, except for those occasions where he was John Clayton and/or Lord Greystoke.
Can’t remember if he ever introduced himself as Tarzan of the Apes. I think the title became famous as it was the title of the first Tarzan book to be published.
