Rifles of the white mens eh. Well it not the right instrument for digging pits but they sure beats diggings with bear hands.

I’m once again wondering when this is supposedly set. By the late 1940s a whole lot of Africans had been drafted into the European armies and fought in the World Wars. And the Europeans had always been recruiting the locals for their police forces and arming them rather than emptying European nations to administer things. “The rifle of the white men” indeed. These guys are probably better shots than Tarzan (although in an archery contest he’d have ’em beat).
