“Returning from Nairobi”? Two days ago Tarzan said he had business there (maybe going to the shopping mall with Jane). What a pity the illustrator skipped that, and moved to the “Attack of the Apes.”

Tarzan looks like he got some more of the witch doctor’s eternal youth medicine. He certainly looks younger in panel 3.

Ah! Breakfast time!

Say who teaching Tarzan to hunting for meats for breakfast? Them monkeys is only hunting for bananas.

So where was the locket? In a pawn shop?

Seeing the Ape man jump into the trees, breakfast retreated back into the shadows, I mean the lions retreated.

A resolute search through the pockets of all his old loincloths sitting in the wash.

“A typical day in the life…”

It would be interesting to know how he lost the locket in the first place. Talk about a needle in a haystack. This is a locket in Africa.

Tarzan appears to be much younger at the start of this tale. Too bad we didn’t get to see his send-off of crotchity old Hard Luck Harrington at the Nairobi Bar & Tavern……that must have gone over BIG!

And so the adventures with the greedy talking monkey come to an end and we are on to the next chapter.
