Some years ago, I sent a grandnephew a card for his 2nd birthday in which I wrote “You’re two! That’s terrible! (Get it?)” I knew that his mother saves a lot of correspondence specifically to be read years later by the recipient.

“That will be fine. Thank you for the advance notice. By the same token, I’m saying that I intend to exercise my full parental rights to discipline my child as I see fit.”

He talks pretty good English for a two year old.

Somebody forgot to put the kid out last night.

It is not supposed to be a goal or a requirement.

If it’s his second birthday then he is only one.

Well, he’s off to a great start!

We have one of these every other week in the house.

Two was a breeze. It was the year of a Threenager that got me. Holy crap that should be a form a birth control if there ever was one.

Our friends always warned us of the terrible two’s. We had three kids and fortunately never experienced such a thing!
