Imagine them both in black and white. Like when Disney started making those old cartoons. Both Phoebe and Marigold animated the same way Mickey Mouse was.
I recently saw a film that was made in the 2000s but it took place in 1945 and was made to look like it was made in 1945. Even down to the aspect ratio and music. Very well made insofar as using all the clichés and tropes, it was a mashup of various movies from the 1940s, but more an exercise of retro-style film-making. Otherwise it was a pretty crappy story with nothing original except profanity and nudity of the 2000s. But those uniforms looked spiffy.

My mom was born in 1953 and never told me her childhood was monochrome. I feel lied to!

So, where’s the summer camp? Don’t tell me we forgot to get close to it first.

I believe that Calvin’s dad made that black-n-white versus color joke back when C and H were still pretty new.

We had color in the 1950s as well! On TV not until Bonanza in 1959!

Mari’s messing with Phoebe just like Calvin’s Dad. Love it!

So Phoebe has her own way of dividing the timeline, Before Phoebe and She is Born?

Is there any chance that Marigold is trolling Phoebe? Also, have we seen trolls in PahU yet?

Just wait, in 10 years, everything’ll be Virtual Reality CGI and stuf, Phoebe.

Just when I begin to think I’m familiar with the way Dana’s mind works…awesome!

“Colorless blob of past” sounds like something someone ate in school once. Or is that “paste”?

I now expect any time-trip to the early 19th century will abide by this canon, Dana.

We had a magnificent pastel portrait from the 1850s.
