I’ll bet his bus stop is the end of the line.

Dad…..gets no respect.

You wouldn’t be the first husband to go AWOL.

That’s okay Brutus, sometimes I drive by my own house and forget to turn in the driveway.

Tell them the ATM is open!

The usual response that I get from my family is “Thanks for the warning”

One of these days, just get on a different bus. I can see this playing out a little differently in our home… “Hey baby, your paramour is home.”

“Really? Where? Oh, you meant you. Welcome home. For a minute I thought you were talking about my boyfriend.”

It would all be in jest of course. In much the same way Brutus would never act on what he said.

Oh, okay.

At least they recognize him, instead of calling the police.

WtF? Does he ride Greyhound to work? If I stay on the bus, I end up a couple of miles from home.

riding to where? Anywhere then home I’m guessing.

What’s the title of that “Twilight Zone” episode? Next stop, Willoughby?

As if you’re not at the end of your line where you are right now, Thorny?

Brutus’ bus stop is Elysian Fields, not Desire. Maybe someday…

That’s what bars are for.

Or.. work in a salt mine where the day is not so long, or hard.

We all have had those days when we say that, but we never do it, nor will we ever do it. A trait that we all share with Brutus….

Did you bring home some salt? We’re all out…

Don’t do it Brutus, it’s better to go unappreciated than it is to go unmissed.

Well, at least Kewpie is glad the see you. Um, I guess not.

It looks like docile Brutus is finally getting to where he’s just about had enough of not being appreciated for what he does. I wouldn’t blame him one bit if he got on that bus and never came back.

Some county bus lines will take a person out of town, maybe fifty miles.

He’ll just end up in the bus garage.
