Probably how Hunter started. Mostly drew family members.

One of Picasso’s early gigs was artist for a newspaper. Turns out he was quite an accomplished representational artist (saw a bunch of the paper drawings at Chicago’s Art Institute years ago).

Fewer people know that Picasdo was brilliant at any type of painting, check out his collective works.

That’s one artist I have trouble understanding his point of view…

Picasso actually was a great artist. He once stated, " I only paint this junk because people buy it".People are the ones with bad taste. He actually painted really lovely paintings of woods and etc. but people like this crape for some weird reason.

Then he was fired because nobody recognized the perps. The shock sent him into a Blue Period.

Looks more like Van Gogh than Picasso.

I never got the hang of appreciating Picasso. However, as I don’t have a dime in it, to each his own.

I like it. I think McPherson has found his niche. :)

And you see how that worked out for him.

You know how police shots always included 2 views, front and side? He drew both at once. More efficient.

Wouldn’t Picasso have been a police sketch artist during his Blue Period?

Fewer know that he started out painting in a very skilled, conventional manner. He would have made an excellent sketch artist.
