Tracy’s sleuthing has paid off! As Tracy puts Alldid’s pen nib into an evidence bag with a gloved hand, I feel like “Team Tracy” has been paying attention to the complaints that people here made when Tracy touched evidence with his bare hands a few stories back.

Archival is not going to sneak out like someone was saying because Sam will bring him along. It’s Archival who knows how the secret doorway works.

“Oh, them! Yeah, they’re here. Go on in, there are no armed guards in with them. knock knock Here come some police guys, anyone in there that might be interested!”

Mysta and Vera will now become hostage !!!

“…Bring Archival with you” !

Preferably in handcuffs.

Archival brings Sam with him, at gunpoint, instead…..naw, too grim, lol

Looks like a bit of the white glove treatment for sure in this house.

What sets Vera’s nibs apart from other nibs ?  Being so full with himself I can believe he might have his initials carved onto his nibs. Arch will want to be anywhere but in that room.

Having gotten that off my chest everyone, including lying, deceiving full of hot air governors are innocent until proven guilty. I don’t agree with his being forced out based on unsubstantiated allegations.

If the guards are in the room with Vera and Mysta will a gunfight ensue? I hope Sam and Tracy can handle it!

I’m pleased to get a jump on A9 and pick some nits first today:

- I don’t know why or how Tracy could possibly know that that’s the type of nib Vera uses.

- Caulk? On panels? Now we know why Tracy’s Handyman side hustle failed.

- The switchblade in panel 3 should’ve gone SHING or CLICK when opened. Just because.

1-DT: HELLO! WHAT’S THIS?

2-Hmmmm. A part of an old fashioned ink pen. In the bathroom. I’ve heard of mathematicians working constipation out with a pencil but never a pen…

3-SHING! CLICK I think I’ll carve DT WAS HERE on this wall panel. I’ll wear gloves so I won’t leave fingerprints. That way, no one can ever trace it back to me. I would a made a brilliant criminal!

Good help is hard to get these days…in their haste to pack the movers overlooked this “gem” so to say.

If Diet Smith has invented something that can “gaze upon the past events”,that’s the perfectway to do a complete historical review of the strip for the 90th Anniversary.

Junior requests they leave out the time he got trapped in a tank car full of molasses.

I guess Alldid’s pen is mightier than Archival’s costume opera sword.

Tracy, doing his detective work the way a good detective should. Latex gloves (every cop should have at least one pair in some pocket); evidence baggie; a used, ink-stained pen nib (anyone with a modicum of knowledge of the use of pens in artwork should be able to recognize what this is), and a lack of any sealant between the molding and the wall panel. Yup; this is not a normal, structural wall. And so, the call for Sam to bring in (sic) Archival. Brock has some explaining to do.

I just hope Sam and Tracy aren’t taken by surprise by the armed Tin Soldiers!
