True story: Sometime ago in England a man, bird enthusiast, was excited to hear the hoot-hooting of a rare owl. So he was out on his porch every night hooting to this owl who responded in like. He was so moved at this and continued communicating with this owl until he discovered that it was his neighbour who thought the same thing.
My Nissan Leaf emits a plucker of beeps and tweets including a neat little melody at the power on state. My Dodge Dakota only beeps me when I do something wrong.
This kind of reminds me of a show in which a man was out looking for a rare snake. As he was walking along, all of a sudden, we hear “rattle, rattle, rattle,” and I thought “Uh, oh.” He then pulled out his phone, which had a rattlesnake ring tone, and said, “That fools me every time.” Why he didn’t put that thing on silent, I don’t know, but it was funny.

The condominium where I live is surrounded by trees: every day is a different concert of chirping. And it’s free.

Arnie is behaving like a little child, playing with his new toy!! Once the batteries die, the “chirping” will stop!!

My guess was that the smoke alarm needs a new battery.

Arnie’s been very chirper lately.

That chirp sounds a lot better than the actual horn that some vehicles use to indicate that the alarm has been set.

I live near what appears to be a retirement community for crows. Those guys NEVER shut up.

That’s much better than the double horn honk of my neighbors pickup truck. The one he checks several times around midnight.

It could be a mockingbird. The ones in our neighborhood have mimicked lock alerts and other man-made sounds.
