When my kids were teenagers, I delighted in telling them where their ânew musicâ came from because many of the hits were actually covers of songs I (or my parents) listened to. Soon my son will be able to do the same to/for his kids. Of course, some music (like some musicians) just rolls on. RIP Charlie Watts and Don Everly.
I carried mail for 35 years. I sang or whistled or hummed my way around my mail route. I never carried a radio. My music was effective. it kept the dogs away. i never got a case of dog-bite.
