I have worked from home for about 30 years – and used to go to out clients about 8 days a month, but down to one monthly client and have not been to her since January 2020 – had her mail the info I needed to do her books to me at the end of last year and will do the same this year – mid Manhattan, not comfortable yet going out locally, certainly not there.
But until about 14 years ago husband was not doing well emotionally with his job and he quit at my suggestion. We agreed he would go his way during the week and I would go mine – lasted about 2 years – then he pointed out that gasoline was expensive & made no sense for me to drive to supermarket and him to drive Home Depot next separately.
Little by little we spent more and more time together – since pandemic started the farthest apart we are is upstairs and down. If not for dinner out on the weekend and a Saturday night movie in normal times – no day different than any other. But in more recent months there is a difference – the hang up telephone spam calls come M-F and not on the weekend.

Even on a good day, Adam’s brain isn’t up for much heavy lifting

Get out the razor blade and the mirror. Three lines of fresh ground French roast and you’ll be fine.

Since Adam works from home, he has no Mondays. He can start his work week whenever he wants to. Likely, for Adam, everyday is a Monday.
