Oh come on Mom, how about an exception, ground him 1 day this weekend and all of next weekend.

Mom: “It was all I could do to keep from sweeping it under the lawn and walking away as if nothing had ever happened…”

So, did Mom capitulate or is Kevin taking his sister after all. (Miles picked up something on his permanent record? The Horror! The Shame.)

Poor Kevin. He will be forced to go with his annoying sister or to find another person.

I’d really expect him to break into pieces.

Miles is always the one to stop Kevin from doing somthing stupid. I don’t think he would do something like this.

That’s because he’s done worse. And with his poor, distraught single mother; that transgression wouldn’t even register.

Many famous artists (or cartoonists) likely got into trouble drawing on things they shouldn’t. I’m not famous, but I used to get in trouble for drawing on my math pages. I do artistic things now for a living, but not math (if I can help it). I hope she does let him go.

That is harsh to ground someone just for drawing on a desk.

But its not the first time.

One time my grandson was playing with one of his grandmother’s cups In the bathtub. Nothing special, a plain white cup. Afraid he’d break it, I took it away.

Normally, that would cause a tantrum, or meltdown. Not this time. He just hunched over and wouldn’t communicate.

I’d never seen a two-year old despondent, but he was. Inconsolable. So I gave it back…

I’m amazed Kevin’s dad is around at all. I thought he left the family way back.
