Ordinarily I’d say dogs don’t have arms, they have four legs, but Snoopy is an anthropomorphic dog who often uses his paws as hands.

OK, this strip is from 1974. Have we gotten any less addicted to violence since then? Is the culture any less soaked in it? Every time I point this out, people look at me like I have three heads, and then go back to their TVs that pump out 600-700 murders a year.
