Existential angst didnât get into my life until I was considerably older than Phoebe. But an enthusiastic âNEIGHâ certainly has helped. Sometimes.
Me: âDana, you realize that every time you make a strip where the focus is one or more characters yelling, âneighâ, all the comments for it will just be people replacing words that sound like or rhyme with âneighâ?â
I am very proud of my ability to neigh! Whenever Iâm reading to the kiddos and a horse enters the story I neigh loudly, and proudly, and yes, it does help keep the existential angst away.

Everyone here is telling the same bad horse pun. Itâs not making it any easier to keep mentally stable.

Not as catchy as âan apple a day keeps the doctor away,â in fact âexistential angstâ is a bit of a tongue twister.
