We have a business that sells peanuts. Its slogan was “Worst Peanuts In Town” and now the business is one of the best in town. It has great peanuts, too. Upchuck could’ve made it big.
I knew of a restaurant that had to change its name three times for copyright infringement of other restaurants in Portland (there are so many its hard to keep track). They finally decided on the name of a built in sign that adorned the restaurant which was an accounting firm.

Would it have been better had you named it the “UpCharles?”

Besides, that name has been taken by the diner frequented by Dagwood Bumstead.

And before that, it was named after the owner, Sal. Sal Monella. It didn’t do very well with that name either.

A wise change! “Eat” sounds ever so much better as a restaurant name than “Upchuck”!
