I wonder what the worst kind of lawyer is. Certain divorce lawyers or certain criminal defense attorneys.
Actually, I’m thinking Chicago D.A. Kim Foxx. She just let 5 murderers completely off the hook in spite of clear video evidence showing the shooting in action.
O this story reminds me of Douglas Adams. In “The Restraunt at the End of the Universe” a planet sent most of the useless third of its population (telephone sanitizers, security guards, etc.) on a space ark and sent them out to crash on another planet. That planet was earth.
Sending Lawyers and politicians to space seems wrong. I was always told that they were lower than whale dung? We should send them to the bottom of the ocean.
Politicians who made holding office a lifetime career were considered the problem and term limits were considered a solution. What has ended up happening is that in term limited states and other lower jurisdictions is a proliferation of lobbying groups with some groups, most notably ALEC, writing legislation and trying to force the legislatures to adopt the bill proposals as laws. Term limits are ok, it’s the continued existence of lobbying groups that is the problem. Lobbyists should be those being shot out into space. An interesting side note about term limits; California voted in term limits for the big state offices, Gov, LT Gov, etc, after Jerry Brown started his second time as Gov. He is the longest serving governor at 16 years and he was the youngest when elected in 1974 and is the oldest, ending his last term win 2018. He and Gavin Newsom both attended Santa Clara University. Jerry finished up at UC Berkeley and Yale. Gavin graduated Santa Clara. Like Jerry, Gavin at one time was the youngest in his office when he was elected mayor of San Francisco at age 36. Just the facts, no opinion.

It could be even worse. Dirk Raider could gather them all up and use them against Earth.

The waste of a space ship happened when they let them on in the first place.

That ship can’t be big enough to hold the world’s supply unfortunately.

That first panel sounded like the beginning of a bar joke.

For some reason I’m recalling the old joke: “What do you call a thousand lawyers chained to a rock at the bottom of the ocean? … A good start …” ;)
