Society is set up so as to discriminate against people who aren’t white (and male and working at a good paying job). Fix that — or even make a good start — and this issue will be fixed right alongside the other. Fixing this might have some effect the other way (BLM seems to have done something), but it’s only part of what needs fixed.
AND, in other news, that most media are ignoring… The “Cyber Ninjas” CONFIRMED that Twitler LOST Arizona… and by an even BIGGER MARGIN then originally reported!!!
From FBI.gov: The FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database contained 89,637 active records. 34% were under the age of 18 and 43% under the age of 21. Records stay active until the case is resolved.
Where have you all been living? It’s the story that catches the attention, that gets the airtime. Were any of you whining the last 500 times Kanye was in the news? Nikki Minaj? Any of the kardashians? Tv offers 45 seconds of on a shooting and then 2 minutes on a new coffee flavor.
In Boston, we had a story of a baby girl, her body thrown away after she was killed by the boyfriend. The story had all the necessary elements, to grab you by the guts. That’s why it got a lot of coverage. Simple.
The truth? Too many deaths and disappearance do go unsolved. They always have, and, sadly, will in the future.
This is a worthy comment. It seems that both media and policing is lacking whenever it involves a missing NA Indian or other native who isn’t white. We really should do better.
According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons (NamUS) database, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, more than 600,000 persons of all ages go missing every year, and approximately 4,400 unidentified bodies are recovered every year.

It seems the media anoints a story to serve as a distraction and the consumers consume.

One missing blonde white woman is a tragedy. A million missing nonwhite women are not even a statistic.

Does Steve’s rendering of the victim remind anyone of Tintin or is it just me?
