You DO have the option to turn OFF your phone completely, instead of destroying it…

Yes, perfect. Now do the same with your brother and then spend time with your boyfriend, undisturbed.

Now she has to spend the day at the phone store getting a new phone. That is usually a 2 or more hour ordeal even if there is no wait.

(Hint to phone retailers – if it wasn’t such a hassle, people like me would buy new phones more often, as I do like the latest toys as they come out and can afford them. But I’m spending a day in a phone store in normal times, let alone the now times).

Oh gosh, this reminds me of a time I worked at a grocery store. They would be good to try to call me to come in on my off days. One day (years ago when we still had land phones and answering machines), they called and I was at home. I was in my early 20’s and living with my Mom. She was there too and told me I didn’t have to answer the phone or go in if I didn’t want to. It was my day off. They left a message and the manager was saying “We know you’re there and not answering the phone!”. Wow…the look on my mom’s face. She was ticked and blown away that they would have the nerve to say that!
