Check the tag on the drive unit. Model -E is for passenger escalators and drives at 2ft/sec. Model -P is for power plant coal escalators, drives at 2m/sec, and is not for passengers. We need to check for model application and stop stocking imperial and metric parts next to each other.

Odd how the people still on the escalator are so calm and not even trying to hold on to the railing…
