I think all the business owners whose businesses were looted and burned down would have a different view of the Summer of 2020. Too many reporters standing in front of fires telling the audience of the peaceful protests. You don’t bring frozen water bottles and bricks to a peaceful protest.
Early protests tried to stay peaceful, but after dark was a whole different violent riot.
Fascinating how many families are surprised at learning how hateful some of their family members are. And how many are continuing to turn them in as their pictures are being shown.
I invite everyone to reach out to me through comments or direct message on Instagram @allisonAgarwood if I can be of help on your journey. This is a challenging and often confusing part of our country. There are a lot of resources for education and support, and I’m happy to be a helper.

Thanks for this comic ♡. It hurts, but it’s important to remember how unfair society can be and all the brave people who try to change it.

From what I’ve read there were 2 groups: those listening at the speech and then the group already gathered at the capital being stupid.

Such a sad time last year. And it’s been repeated far too often.
