She’s onto something there. (It reminds me of when my wife and I would order sauerkraut for her and liver for me in restaurants so we wouldn’t have to smell each other’s food cooking in our kitchen.)

How do you play pickleball?

For the uninitiated, there are no pickles in pickleball. There are rackets, a net, and a very strange ball that may have been a tennis ball in a former life. But it must have been very bad in that former life to return as a pickleball….

The creators of the game had a dog named Pickle or Pickles.

Here in our geezer village, a guy told me he was interested in trying the game, but every time he drove past the courts there was an ambulance.

We have always tried to get a group together to play Quidditch but it seems that everyone around here are muggles. So we stick to bicycling and inside sports. But once a year we would trek to Dog River, Sask. for a weekend of 43 man Squamish. It works fairly well on a Canadian rules football field as well.

She likes tennis and he doesn’t so she proposes a “compromise”. Basically just a form of tennis. How like a woman.
