There is a “corking fee” if you bring your own wine, and a “stuffing fee” when you bring your own tortilla.

Hey, some places still offer only flour tortillas. You have to bring your own-gluten free corn tortillas. :)

I don’t think that’s too bad an idea. I have a friend who has a gluten intolerance and some places don’t have gluten free options. She’s taken her own pasta to a restaurant and they’ve made up her order with that pasta. I wouldn’t be surprised if she went someplace that didn’t have gluten free tortillas and took one with her.

I always bring my own mug for coffee. Paper cups just don’t cut if for me.

I once went to Chipotle and right when I walked in they said “We’re out of burritos.” This confused me because they make the burritos in front of you. Turns out they were just out of tortillas.

The point is that day this would have worked out well.

Most restaurants have a sign that says “No outside food allowed”.

At street fairs (at least, before the pandemic) I noticed that the food vendors were charging extra for cups – and justified it by promising refills in that cup (notice that those refills were not free or even heavily discounted)… I started bringing my own cup after one vendor got into the habit of charging $5 for a cup that held a $1 drink (that was probably worth 25 cents at most)…
