Pets ARE therapy, some officerly and some just by being pets.

Hey, he got to roll in the mud!

I salutes thee, police doggies.

Bar flies appear when you leashed expect it.

There is a BBC radio series “A Fair Cop” in which a an ex-cop-turned-standup-comedian describes the more humorous aspects of his former job. The most hilarious episode was about working with canine units. One story ended with four cops crammed into a Panda Car, hiding from the overenthusiastic dog, with the suspect pounding on the window to get in. Once you let the dog loose, he’s going to catch somebody.

and both had fun…..

K9s don’t roll around with suspects. They take a chunk out of their butt, then knock them down.

And the drug sniffing dog’s day was right down the middle.

And to make matters worse, in the some of the worst neighborhoods, the cats all got together and painted giant “Defund the Canine Patrol” letters on the streets!
