Time to deal with some separation anxiety.

I miss the days when phones worked like that.

Rover knows, Red…he always knows.

Back when my husband & I were first married & had cats, whenever we’d go away for an overnight, we’d call home & leave a message on the answering machine. Our kitties could hear it as we were leaving it & it kept them calm.

Just think…if Red and Rover both had cell phones, this would be a very different comic strip, lol!

Back in the day, when long distance calls were expensive and before reversing the charges were available, my father would call his family (in another state) and hang up after 3 rings. They would know to call him. (He didn’t have any money at the time)

I thought they had a telepathic connection from this far away.
