They met nine years ago, Phoebe is nine years old, the math works out.

That’s a pretty good first memory. It’s certainly better than mine, which is of wondering why I didn’t remember anything.

It’s Marigold’s fault for not time traveling back to the moment Phoebe first opened her eyes, allowing Phoebe’s first visual memory to be of her.

Phoebe was not 1 when Marigold and Phoebe met. Marigold shouldn’t assume the first thing of Phoebe’s first memory that comes to mind is about Marigold
