at one time people feared the written word would steal people away, then radios, then t.v. then the internet. Now we have the darn Metaverse coming. Sigh. I think I should go back outside.
He’s playing a game, possibly with friends. He’s chatting with friends. He’s doing homework. This is… pretty normal stuff. It’s not much different than playing some metroid or fort night, talking on the phone, then cracking open an encyclopedia. I like this strip usually but it absolutely has some really old notions about technology and how people use it to connect with other people.
