Yep.

Some Pluggers do away with the laces entirely and rely on velcro straps to “tie their shoes”.

I have my four year old grandson using the term “spiffy” now.

Laces wear out.Shoes, last a Long time…!

Most of my shoes wear out before the laces ;-(

I bearly wears shoes.

You’re not a Plugger if you can still bend down to tie your shoes.

I’ve not worn a pair of shoes long enough to wear out the laces. Where I work, the 5 miles a day from walking wears them out fast.

A real plugger will save the still-good laces from shoes they throw away.

And there are generations that are going, “Mom, what is a shoelace?”

The ties that bind.

Pluggers also tie their laces in such a way that once tied, never untied. Easy on, easy off : )

New shoe laces??? Those are the last things I wear out on my boots and shoes. Usually take them and use them for short ties on things in the garden or to secure things in the bed of my truck.

Shoelaces like those that originally came with the shoes are not easy to find.

And you probably have a few of the old laces in a drawer. Just in case of-something.

What good are laces, old or new, if you can’t reach them like this poor chap ?

You’re a plugger if your shoes have Velcro straps

That’s how I felt getting a new coat yesterday!

It’s hard to bend over to tie my shoes up. I got Lock Laces and now just slip ’em on and tug the lock.

Better to get elastic no tie laces, not only do you not have to tie them you won’t trip over untied laces.

As long as they are long!

Almost right. It’s a new insert that makes the shoes feel new… for a couple days.
