You know what would be funny? If Marigold had a sign that said, “Uhhhh…” like how Patrick Star would say.

Its going to be a long, speechless week.

Funny, but let’s go with the alternate ending….

Marigold: Pulls out a sign saying “Boy I could sure use some coffee”.

Phoebe: That’s from Amphibia. Are you even trying at this point?

I somehow think her sister would think this was cheating.

this must be the same way Panda Genma gets his signs.

problem is, most of the signs are about how pretty she is.

Another tiresome arc on the way

Phoebe might actually win an argument with Marigold this week!

“Signs,signs, everywhere a sign”!

If she doesn’t know, she can just make that face from panel 3.

The important question here is, can Marigold or better yet Phoebe make additional signs?

This reminds me of when Walt Kelly did a story arc featuring fireflies that blinked on and off in alternate panels. He admitted that it didn’t make his job as a cartoonist any easier.

Marigold does still have a point though—the magical pocket dimension IS pretty cool.
