I’m still waiting for my first time. Maybe in the next lifetime.

My only attempt at skiing was a school trip when I was around 12, and I didn’t even get to ski. Came off the chairlift badly, slipped and fell, and the next chair hit me in the back of the head :/

The Doc says that you should pack snow around any part that hurts.

Skied once as a soph in HS on a field trip. One of the girls broke her leg. I decided to go in and play foosball after that.

I’ve always been a mite tickled that most of the people that have lived in Colorado for quite a while don’t ski…

I never feel the urge to go outside in freezing cold weather for fun. I get cold enough walking my dog in the winters. I did try cross country skiing once. Froze half to death, but was in good enough shape not to wake up in the least bit sort the next day. No desire after that to do it again.

A lot of people have accidents because they go on big slop (hill) before they know how to ski. - ( Look out for that tree ) .

I tried skiing one time. Didn’t fall but I found that I enjoyed the warmth, music and brandy in the lodge more!

I used to live near a ski resort. A friend’s daughters went all the time, and constantly nagged to “Try it, you’ll like it!”

So she finally gave in. Went down the bunny hill once. Well, not quite once – fell halfway down & broke her ankle.

I used Snoopy’s Dog House at the bottom of the baby hill as a brake. Never figured out how to turn or stop. Straight down and WHAM! into the dog house. Never went again.
