Apparently the marriage has come under some stress with he closing of the bistro and Gus’ advanced age. I wonder if Janis will get a clue from interaction with Meg or maybe with Mary Lou herself.

Four of my siblings and a few friends are a part of the Oxford, MI community or connected to the school through collaborations with neighboring districts. They’re all safe and tending to the trauma of those around them. Viewing life from their POV right now, it’s like just appreciate you have family you can hug today and take care of each other as best you can.

Any married couple who claims they have never had a fight is lying. No couple is completely compatible in every aspect. It isn’t possible unless they are twins.

She ain’t droppin’ no eaves, I promise.

And yet, for months on end, you didn’t even mention their existence.

Our oldest has been through a divorce (and, I’m glad to say, is happily remarried); his 2 younger brothers are both on the verge of one, though we haven’t given up hope (love both those girls). I can relate to what Janis is feeling right now – your offspring having marital trouble is an awful thing (especially when they won’t talk about it to you).

She’s just being very alert.

Amazing that the Dad is more perceptive about the kids than the Mom is. My husband would never notice anyone’s mood or behavior.

Time to land that helicopter.
