Imposing sanctions on the enemy?

That is better than imposing them on your own people and making them the enemy.

For once, the king was smart…

For starters, you have to be a “registered enemy”.

I’m doing a disorganized bug out and leaving citizens of the country and sympathizers behind at the mercy of the murderous Taliban and calling it a victory.

Of course it worked – just look at the results of the US sanctions on Japan in the early 1940’s.

They resulted in Pearl Harbor.

I’m sure the Fink will sanction a handsome tribute to keep the Huns at bay.

Sanctions are extremely effective. When accompanied by an army surrounding the city.

Hmm when I have kids that misbehave Ill yell out “that’s it. Y’all are getting a sanction” and then sit back and looks their bewildered faces lol

Sanctions, smanctions….nothing works on the evil which lurks in our world today…

Just start preaching religion ( any religion) they will all run!

The phrase, “I’m offended!” would probably work better.

Better yet, declare a lockdown.

Literally the only time sanctions have ever helped to have the intended effect was when they were used against the democratic (racist and only partially enfranchised, but democratic) government of South Africa. Against tyrants, they’re a useless waste of lip movement.

Nice clean policies such as “Any leader who attempts to change borders in Europe by force will be assassinated” make more sense.

Fire back some of those fruitcakes they lobbed at you in “Bound and Gagged”…

Better yet, impose mandates!

Sanctions work if you are taking away something you have been giving out already. Which begs the question…

And sanctions can work if your enemy is entwined in a lucrative trade relationship with you, and you can afford it. Which again, begs the question…
