Attach one of those Bluetooth locator tags to it, just like people use to find their keys. It’s worth it to prevent the aggravation.

When I needed a cane, (broken knee) it was NEVER out of my immediate sight and reach.

You can buy tracking devices. That’s how we figured out one of our dogs was tunneling under the deck when she disappeared.

How about the app for “find my glasses” which are usually on his head. Then for Mrs. Plugger, the app for “find my car keys”.

Kind of sad.. reflection of the times I guess that an app has replaced the grandchild.

That would mean getting your cane on the internet and opening it up to being hacked. And you want to rely on your cane when using it. There have been cases of people’s cars getting hacked and bad things happening.

There will probably be an app for a lot of things to find even the things you wish were permanently lost!

I already need an app to help me find my relatively few apps that I even have!

I don’t need a cane finer or a glasses finder… I keep several of each, in case.

I use both a walker and a cane (not at the same time, lol). I once was totally dismayed at being unable to find my cane for several days. Not only did I need it for areas too narrow for my walker, but it was a gift to me from a friend who had since passed away. I finally bought a new cane. Then, of course, when I was accessing one of the areas of my house too narrow for my walker, I found my original cane! It had slipped down out of sight behind some boxes next to the far wall. I was delighted to have it back. And I still have the other cane “just in case”, or to possibly lend to someone else if the need should arise.

You could do like my cousin did. He got one of those remote control things to find missing tv remotes and had one attached to his cane.
