National Wreaths Across America Day is the culmination of a yearlong mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. This mission is in part carried out each December with the placement of sponsored veterans’ wreaths on the headstones of those who have served our country. The observance is designated annually on a Saturday in December by Congress.By coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and at more than 3,100 other participating locations around the country, Wreaths Across America strives to remember our fallen heroes. The day honors those who serve. And it teaches our children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms.

Bake Cookies Day. I have to work – no time to bake cookies. Unless I bake what I call “cheat” cookies. The kind where you use ready made batter, I do have some of that in my fridge. It’s a thought.

From yesterday’s comments to kmalta57 who asked, “I see hills? in the background. Where does your brother live?”

Mark lives about 3 miles from y place. We live in southern Wisconsin, about 20 or so miles from Madison. Lots of hills around here. My cousin, Becky, who lives in Ohio used to call them mountains. LOL. From what I’ve seen of it, Ohio looks pretty flat.

By the way, nobody was hurt when Mark’s shed blew over. He was in the house when it happened, though, so he heard it blow over. Oh yeah, in the background of that picture, right behind the toppled over shed, you might notice a tarp. That was put over the stuff that used to be in the shed so that stuff wouldn’t blow away too.

Miracles DO happen…COME ON MIRACLE!

My son and I went to IKEA, then Lowes, Home Depot and finally COSTCO looking at flooring. I walked 9,958 steps. No wonder I was beat! I picked PERGO White Oak for the floors. And IKEA vanities for the bathroom. I wanted some shelving units for the hallway but everyone of them was out of stock/ temporarily unavailable. Supply Chain woes I guess.

Chesney may be looking to make a deal.

Yes! Yes it would! :D

Fingers crossed. Hey Santa, what is that crack about Lily? Didn’t she get a good home?

We all certainly need a Christmas miracle about now.

Maybe Santa can overlook the rapsheet this time.

We’re finding out that a lot of things we wanted to see are closed because of covid AGAIN.

If Chesney could change…and Santa would see,would that save the warehouse, the cats and Annie?We can only hold our breath…and take a deep sigh,we’ll just put our trust , in that jolly old guy!

A miracle for the warehouse – yes, But I love Chesney the way he is.
