Candace is unknowingly violating the school dress code too.

I like the way Candace asks Elizabeth about her makeup and Elizabeth skips the makeup to talk about her earring and clothes.

I’ve never understood why it’s so important to look (as Mary Poppins would put it) “practically perfect in every way”.

Why not the bathroom mirror? It’s the performance as well as the look.

Candace knows where to go feed her ego. In the washroom I bet, things can get “catty”.

I have to wonder—what kind of school allows freaks like Candace and Duane in their doors??

Candace looks like a prostitute; how come school officials thought otherwise?

If Candace’s mother’s live-in boyfriend isn’t already starting to creep on her… he will soon…

Candace is the typical narcissus.

Canadaian scholls allow clothes like that on kids ??

Why do I get the feeling that Candace is going to be the prettiest waitress at IHOP until she becomes the mistress of the richest man in town?

1974 LA schools had abolished the dress code and girls were poking around the edges to see what they could get away with. Then one gal in my tenth grade class walked to school in a shear top like that, and “hot pants”.

She caused two guys to have minor traffic accidents in the parking lot walking through, and several guys to walk into telephone poles, fences, walls, etc. On her way home, a kid ran a red light and hit an oncoming car with the green light.

By eighteen – she was a cashier at the local market and everybody heard she had posed for Playboy, as one of the “Girls of the Pac-10” although she did not attend a college.

Still the same day, for a week now. The colorist must be tired of the orange sweater and the green sweater every day.

That is the real answer!
