I’ve done several dumb things in the kitchen over the years. But putting a dent in the fridge isn’t one.

I never knew that!

Know what else can cover a dent on refrigerator? A grandchild’s drawing.

Unfortunately, that method is not as effective for cars.

I have a car that is a former police cruiser. It is an old Ford Crown Victoria sedan. It is black. I put several bullet hole decals on it—there are lots of small dents. I added even more. The car looks like it has been shot at a ton of times. When people ask me about it I tell them that my wife has been after me but has missed me so far! :-) I live in a small city of 11,500 and everybody knows that car. They might not know me but they know the car. One guy had asked me if the deer were fighting back. :-) We have a lot of wildlife where I live. I did ask three different police officers if they thought those decals were offensive to them as officers have died in the line of duty and all three said that they had no problem with them and that I could put on as many as I wanted. I had another car once that had some dents in it and I put bullet hole decals on the dents. After I did that I never worried again about those dents.

The new stainless steel refrigerators are not magnetic. While it keeps clutter off them, I miss being able to hang my grandchildren’s drawings.

As long as the refrigerator works the outside is not that important to me ;-)

Which makes you wonder how the other dents got there…

None of those dents were on purpose. They were all acci-dents.

New fridges with non-magnetic doors are a blight.

They must have been goofing around with a pair of croquet mallets or something. Denting a fridge door would take some doing for an old man and a young sprout. Explain the “goofing around,” Earl.

They also make for great fridge scratch covers.

Good idea as a dent in the door will not harm the food. We bough a large chest(new) freezer in 2020 that had a big dent in it. got it for less than half price. since we keep it in the garage the dent is meaningless. Good place to buy new appliances at less than retail is a scratch and dent store

my mom put wood coloured mactac (sticky vinyl) on our fridge where the chair hit the fridge when you opened the fridge. While I thought it looked stupid (I was 14), my friends marveled at the wood inlay on our fridge!

Notice how the Temple moves to different rooms….I like it.

Nice.

Thought be different with magnets, for us we do not have dents on our fridge.
