@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s ploy to get a loan has crashed and burnt again :o) my avatar again is a picture of our fav actor Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean grinning because he’s in a good mood like I am, how was your day? our MANIC MONDAY should be busy as usual , but we are both in a good mood , no shopping to do or errands to run , just stay inside the house keep hydrated and wait till this evening when the greengrocer van comes up our street, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
I realised today that I had not yet made a reservation for the carvery. So I have done that. It’s 19th January and I can’t wait.
I have not left the house since last Friday so I’m going to heave my derriere out tomorrow. My Mum can only take a few days staying in the house and then she gets “Cabin Fever” I used to love staying indoors when I was younger. Those were the days I didn’t have a Smartphone but I did have a computer. Haha.
Anyway if I stay in another day, I will get Cabin Fever as well. So I can’t let that happen.
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.
Many years ago, I had a good friend who was heavy into sports betting – particularly football and basketball. He was good at it, but like all gamblers, had his ups and downs. So much so that he was on a first-name basis with the managers of the local Beneficial Finance and Household Finance companies.
I asked him if they knew that he borrowed money to pay his bookie. He just laughed and said “Probably, but they know I’m good for the money. I always pay the bookie promptly when I lose and the finance companies just as fast when I win, so I’ve always got good credit with both.”

on the other hand, if Andy were to pay off all his tabs, his community would have a cash boom!

Not really sensible, this strip!
The happy loans company supplies loans, not payoffs!

Consolidate all his “Tabs” into one loan? Which of course he will never repay.

Andy, just tell him it is for your taba taigh-seinnse. He’ll think it is for something important.

Any establishment that lets him run a tab deserves to go under!

Andy pay his tab? Like that would ever happen. By the way, I enjoyed today’s classic comics. Are milk bars an actual thing?
jim_pem almost 3 years ago
Yeah, he borrowed some cash from Chalkie to pay off the tabs.

Might just bankrupt the local council to pay off Andy’s bar tabs? Or the Bank of England?

Then how else is Andy going to pay his bar tab if Flo and friends won’t do it for him?
