I hope those of you who are in the areas where the snow hit hard will just stay home until the roads are cleared. I have had my share of snow through the years and rushing out is not the smartest choice unless you are a first responder. Sure, it’s annoying, but it’s not forever. Thank you to the first responders.
When I was a kid, ours did — dachshund through the snow, that is. (Well, she was mostly dachshund, about two-thirds, I think…) When it got really deep, we shoveled trenches, and she raced though them like tunnels.

Looks like ice planet Hoth in northeast Tennessee this morning. Sophie is going out on her leash, the long one. I don’t want to get out in that.

My wife had a Chi Hoo A Hoo a (WKRP ref) growing up. They use to dig a small path in the backyard for it.
